A newly established group of the heads of diplomatic missions was welcomed by the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, at an official meeting at the Amiri Diwan. In the present meeting, the newly appointed ambassadors and consuls general made the constitutional oath in the presence of the Amir. This is a formal aspect that enables them to technically commence their responsibility as the ambassadors of Kuwait in foreign countries.

The ambassadors are appointed to various countries, including Sri Lanka, the Netherlands, Senegal, Syria, and Greece. It has also appointed consuls general in major world cities such as Los Angeles, Guangzhou, Basra, and Istanbul. These are positions that are viewed to be critical to ensuring that international relations remain healthy.
