Sheikh Abdullah Holds conferences with Foreign Ministers regarding Regional Situation.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister of the UAE, made phone calls with some of the foreign ministers to discuss the latest situation in the region.
These talks have been made in the wake of recent missile attacks by Iran, which have hit the UAE among other nations. The UAE referred to these attacks as severe and destructive to the peace in the region.
In the phone calls, Sheikh Abdullah talked to the foreign ministers of Ireland, Portugal and Costa Rica. The discussions were aimed at the existing tensions and the means of preserving peace and stability.
Other Countries Support.
Sheikh Abdullah appreciated the support and solidarity of the foreign ministers with the UAE in this challenging period. He also ascertained that the UAE was safe to all the residents and visitors.
The ministers of various countries also expressed their concern over the situation and supported the UAE. They settled on the need to collaborate in order to mitigate tensions.
