UAE Demands Iran to Pay damages on attacks.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has indicated that Iran should compensate the damage its recent attacks have caused in the Gulf region.
The Iranian missile and drone attacks caused damage to buildings, infrastructure, and disrupted the daily lives of the people in the UAE (UAE officials). Due to this reason, the UAE claims that Iran is accountable and compensate or rather pay reparations.
The UAE also stated that it desires clear responses concerning the ceasefire agreement. Authorities are concerned that Iran will cease all attacks and reopen key shipping channels such as the Strait of Hormuz.
The government further stated that this needs to be done in order to restore peace and stability in the area. It further emphasized that Iran should be held fully accountable due to the losses as a result of the conflict.
The situation is still strained and both parties are pressurized to minimize conflicts and shift towards peace.
